My name is Austin Howd. I'm from North Carolina i got scouted to MODEL here 8 years ago and signed with Major Models NYC and have been doing that ever since! I have been fishing for 20 years and have been fishing in Central Park for 8 years. I help children and adults learn all the basics to advanced fishing. I have a YouTube channel that chronicles my fishing expeditions called bassfishingnyc. I also do deals for half day and whole day bookings. Send me message and I will give you price deals! there's not much more fun things to do in NYC than go fishing in central park! Fishing is in my blood and a very big passion of mine so I mastered it at the highest level let me teach you things that took me years to learn so you can take that skill back to your state or country and have tons of fun !!

Many people do not know that Central Park is excellent for fishing! and has been for the last 30 years First, we will first go through fishing safety and gear basics. Then i will show and teach you step by step how to cast, catch and release ! trust me it will be a blast !! . FISHING is the fastest growing sport in america right now !! you only pay for whoever is fishing the rest can come along to watch the experience but cannot fish at all or they must pay

if your just watching and not fishing you don't gotta pay ! only people who are fishing has to pay so family can come alone and watch the experience but if you plan on touching a fishing rod you must pay thank you

Where you’ll be
We will start at any one of the five ponds or lakes in Central Park depending on the species that you want to catch. Each location in central park has a different species. 72nd St. Lake is more Carp, Harlem Meer is Bass and Bluegill, Turtle Pond is Smallmouth Bass, 59th St is Bass , 103rd St. is Bass . Fish have been in central park for 30 years sometimes i take guest to hidden waterfalls in park with fish so make sure you ask best pictures !!
