About your host, Peter
Wendy is the founder of Vision Walks- Eco Tours. A self confessed nature-nerd, she has a BSc in environmental science, and a MSc in Advanced Learning Technologies. She has recently attained Advanced Eco Tourism accreditation from Eco Tourism Australia. She is actively involved in conservation and sustainability, has been planting koala food trees for the past 18 months, which she now uses to offset her carbon emissions, which has given her a carbon neutral status (for aiming for carbon positive status) . She has recently found out she's been listed as a finalist in the NSW Regional Tourism Awards in eco tourism. Wendy is passionate about the environment, which she loves to share with people with her incredible knowledge and humor.

What We'll Do
On this tour we visit three different habitats (eucalypt forest, rainforest and grassland), to see Aussies wildlife where they live. We guarantee that you'll see; koala, kangaroo, wallaby, flying fox and birds. We may see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth, water dragons, depending on the weather. Includes a locally sourced picnic in the rainforest.
The typical mammal sightings are: 3-6 koalas, 10-30 eastern grey kangaroos, 100's of grey headed and black flying fox, 2-6 red necked wallaby, 1-4 red-legged pademelon. Plus any number of birds such as: purple swamp hen, dusky moorhen, coot, wood duck, pacific black duck, ibis, spoonbill, egret (various species), rainbow lorikeet, scaly breasted lorikeet, kookaburra, eastern yellow robin, scrub wrens, noisy pitta, magpies, willie wagtails, currawong. -
